We had some sun today and it was SO BEAUTIFUL that i couldn't just stay inside and do nothing... So i went out and practiced some macro photos. Matthew left for his Orchestra coaching job and i was inspired to shoot some better pictures of his violin. It has a neat history, but all i can remember is that it's antique.
Since it's still cold out, i just took some shots around our yard. i didn't want to wander too far and freeze :)

#3 is beautiful. #1 is whimsy, I think you nailed the lighting on all the violin shots. Good focus and clairty, and even those portray a sense of emotion! Good. My fav. Macro is the pinecone. I like the colors in that one.
